If you’ve never been to Cancun, you should probably add it to your bucket list. Cancun is a beautiful beachy area you can visit in Mexico. It is definitely a tourist hotspot but still very gorgeous and the beaches are stunning! Essentially the Hotel Association of Cancun and some other surrounding cities are planning to offer to pay for half of your hotel stay. They will give you two free nights of accommodation for every two nights that you pay for, essentially doubling your time in sunny Mexico. The Association is also giving two free child stays for every two adults that book. Other businesses are also joining in offering up to 20% off at participating golf courses, theme parks, spas, and more! Click here to learn more.

The country of Malta is hoping to open up for fully vaccinated international travelers on June 1, 2021. You can find out more by clicking here.

The government of Japan recently stated that as part of their Go-To Travel campaign, they would pay for a “portion” of travelers’ costs. However, they came out again recently, after a rumor stating that the government would pay HALF of foreign tourists costs, saying this is untrue. If you currently live in Japan you are in luck, because it sounds like there may be some kind of incentive program starting soon for DOMESTIC travel WITHIN Japan. You can read more about this here.

Along with discounted hotel stays, visitors can expect lots of free museum passes and free archaeological site visits. They also plan to offer discounted farm stays, tours, and more! The Maldives is setting up a 3V scheme to encourage travelers to “visit, vaccinate and vacation”. Instead of paying you in money, the Maldives will vaccinate you upon arrival. This is a wonderful incentive for people living in countries that are having a harder time rolling out vaccines. You can read more about this here.
